Custom Calibration · Queen Creek, AZ

Stop guessing. Start measuring.

Off-the-shelf “canned” tunes are a gamble on your engine. We calibrate every car on our in-house Dynojet with HP Tuners: safe, proven, repeatable powerbuilt for your exact combination, not someone else's.

Anatomy of a Perfect Tune

Four things a big number won't tell you

A peak dyno figure is marketing. A calibration you can live with every day is engineering. Here's what we actually dial in.

01 · Peak Power

Wide-open throttle, done right

Peak WOT numbers are the easy part; anyone can chase a big dyno figure. We build the top of the curve by truing volumetric efficiency to measured airflow and advancing ignition timing right up to your safe knock threshold, so the horsepower is real, repeatable, and made without gambling the engine.

  • VE tables trued to measured airflow
  • Ignition timing advanced to the knock limit, not past it
  • AFR targeted for power and safety at WOT
  • Repeat pulls to confirm the number holds
Power Under the Curve

Area, not just apex

A good tune doesn't just raise the peak; it lifts the entire curve, so the car is faster everywhere you actually drive it.

The Calibration Arsenal

However your build needs to be tuned

Custom Dyno Tuning

In-house on our Dynojet, under real load. The gold standard: we see exactly what the engine is doing and calibrate to it, pull by pull.

Remote Tuning

For non-local clients. You datalog to our spec, we revise the calibration in HP Tuners, you flash, refined until it's dialed.

Forced Induction Calibration

Boost changes everything. We calibrate fuel, timing, and boost targets so supercharger and turbo builds make safe, repeatable power.

Mopar ECU Unlocking

Late-model Dodge and RAM PCMs ship locked from the factory. We unlock yours in-house so your Hemi can take a real custom tune.

The Dyno Process

How your session runs

  1. 01

    Baseline & Diagnostics

Before we touch a table, we confirm the car is mechanically sound: a baseline pull plus a health check on fueling, ignition, and boost. A tune amplifies whatever's already wrong, so we find it first.

  2. 02

    Custom HP Tuners Calibration

We calibrate your factory ECU/PCM with HP Tuners under load (VE, ignition timing, AFR, and, where supported, transmission), built around your exact hardware and fuel, not a generic file.

  3. 03

    Verification & Road Test

Verification pulls confirm the numbers repeat, then a real road test proves part-throttle drivability, idle, and shifts before you get the keys, and a data sheet.

Straight Answers

Tuning questions, answered

Do I need a tune for just an intake or exhaust?

A cat-back or drop-in filter alone usually doesn't require a tune. But anything that meaningfully changes airflow (long-tube headers, a cam, forced induction, bigger injectors) shifts your volumetric efficiency and fueling enough that the factory calibration is now wrong. We'll tell you straight whether your specific setup needs one.

Will a tune void my warranty?

A custom tune can affect powertrain warranty coverage, and that's a call to make with your eyes open. We're honest about the trade-offs, and on returnable platforms we can flash back to stock. Most of our clients are past factory warranty or building dedicated cars.

Do you lock your tunes?

No. We don't hold your calibration hostage. Our goal is a car that runs right and a customer who comes back because the work is good, not because we've locked you out of your own ECU.

How does remote tuning work?

You install HP Tuners' interface, datalog your car on the street or a local dyno to our spec, and send us the logs. We revise the calibration, you flash the update, and we repeat until it's dialed. It works best on well-defined setups; big forced-induction builds are still best done in person on our dyno.

How much power will a tune actually add?

It depends entirely on your platform and supporting mods, so we won't throw out a forum number. We measure your baseline on the dyno and give you a realistic target for your exact combination, then prove it with before-and-after pulls.
